Dear West Cummington,

The weather is stolid this spring, the news is hard. Faith blooms before the flowers; inhale it, take it in, nurture it and it will nurture you.
The first tune is by the Staples Singers. An antiwar classic from the 60.. "For What It's Worth." Then the message, which consists largely of a new poem entitled "April 6 2022," by my friend Gary Metras.
Here is a link to Gary's poem.
The closing song is also from the 60s, recorded in Chicago by a very young Charlie Musselwhite on harp. "Christo Redemptor"

I wish you the blessings of quiet and the blessings of connection.
See you Sunday.
Love,
Steve

Dear West Cummington,
It's a reluctant spring but a beautiful evening.
Here is a message, a very human message containing denial, conscience, judgment, misogyny, and who knows what else.
All these are familiar to you and to all of us. This is my experience but I hope it speaks to you.
See you Sunday.
Love,
Steve

Dear West Cummington,

Welcome home to Penny. I think the music and the heartfelt though garbled words speak for themselves tonight. Bless you. Hope to see you Sunday.
